I am deprived of sleep
In the heart of the night
Under heavy sheets
I am struggling with

My thoughts, they are steep
Inside my head is bright
As if possessed by a few lamps
Causing a ceasing of my breath

I lay here in fleeting wonder
About souls in my shoes
With minds visiting everywhere
Every thought lukewarm

All these, I lazily ponder
As time silently flees
Away from here
Even as I beckon, saying “come”.
